# Redness

What the Redness parameter measures, the facial areas it covers, how to read its scores and grades, and what the mask colours mean.

## About Parameter

The parameter estimates the visible presence and severity of redness in facial skin, including diffuse redness, localized flushing, and areas of inflammation that may be caused by increased blood flow, sensitivity, or various skin conditions that affect blood vessel dilation.

## Features

1. Multi-area analysis: forehead, left cheek, right cheek, and perioral region.
2. Works with 1 and 3 side facial images..

## Output

1. Score from 1 to 100.
2. Grade from 1 to 5.
3. Algorithm-assigned skin condition tag (Great, Good, Average, Poor).
4. Score for specific facial regions: nose, forehead, perioral, left cheek, right cheek.
5. Byte-formatted mask indicating areas of detected redness.

## Mask Color Legend

The redness mask shades detected redness directly on the face image. With the default color scale, lighter areas mark little to no redness, and deeper, more saturated red marks more severe redness.
