# User Tags

What User Tags are, how they are derived from analysis results or user input, and how the Product Recommendation System uses them.

User tags defined by the output of AI Skin Analysis ([Algorithms](/haut.ai/haut.ai-features/algorithms.md)) and presents skin type and correct skin concerns of the end-user.

User tags are labels automatically assigned based on the output of Haut.AI's Skin or Hair Analysis algorithms ([Algorithms](/haut.ai/haut.ai-features/algorithms.md)), or defined through direct user input.

They are used by the Product Recommendation System 2.0 to personalize product suggestions.

Tags cover a range of attributes — for skin, these are derived from AI facial analysis, while for hair they include properties such as hair type, curliness, condition, and specific concerns.
