Description and requirements

What is LIQA?

LIQA™️ is a product by Haut.AI company to help the wide range of businesses to collect the high quality images. LIQA™️ stands for "Live Image Quality Assurance". It estimates image quality hyperparameters and interacts with the user through a visual feedback. LIQA™️ engine is powered by an Artificial Intelligence modules allowing a live (real-time), no-reference image quality assessment via a mobile device camera.

LIQA™️ has several key features to change to way how images are collected:

  • LIQA™️ requires no server connection for calculations, utilizing only the mobile device's computational capabilities. This mean that all the data of end-users will never leave the contour of an app where LIQA is integrated

  • LIQA™️ returns a human-readable feedback to guide end-users toward standardized images. The targets are defined based on diverse datasets of more than 20 million images and an expertise of Haut.AI in skin analysis

Technically, LIQA™️ is a JavaScript web library with all math and UI combined inside. The service utilises iframe and webview technologies and requires internet connection for initialization step, but all image capturing and processing happen on client side.

Requirements

LIQA™️ Service currently supports embedding via several options:

  • iframe-based for integration to web-site

  • webview-based for integration to native mobile applications, developed with React Native

iOS:

  • (full) iOS >= 14.3 - all browsers are supported

  • (partial) iOS < 14.3 - only Safari browser

Android:

  • (full) Android-based OS >= 8 - all browsers are supported

  • (no support) Android-based OS < 8 - not supported

Desktop (PC):

  • (partial) Windows - only Google Chrome and Chromium based browsers

  • (partial) Linux - only Google Chrome and Chromium based browsers

  • (partial) MacOS - only Safary browser
