In a previous step you got to this menu (see screenshot below)
In this step, we will perform an import procedure of all product items from Shopify.
Go to your Shopify store website.
Copy the URL to it, for example: https://www.yourshopify.com
.
Paste it to the "Your store URL" field.
Click "Import products."
You will receive a notification that the product import is complete. New/updated product items will appear in your Product Inventory.
SaaS automatically identifies all Product Items with " Active " status in Shopify and imports them to SaaS Product Inventory.
Product Items in Shopify's status "Draft" or "Unavailable" will not be imported to SaaS Product Inventory.
If you select the "Overwrite existing products" checkbox during the import procedure:
SaaS will import all product items from Shopify
For matching products, all properties will be overwritten by values from imported products.
For new products (not previously uploaded to SaaS Product Inventory), the new Product Items will be created in SaaS Product Inventory.
Example:
You have SaaS Product Inventory with: Product A and Product B
You have Shopify Store with:
Product B and Product C having status "Active" in Shopify,
Product A and Product D having status "Draft" im Shopify.
When you trigger a new import from the same Shopify Store to SaaS Product Inventory, you will get this result:
Product B will be updated (overwritten) in Product Inventory by values from Product B in Shopify
Product C will appear as new product item in Product Inventory
Product A will NOT be updated in Product Inventory, but will also not be deleted.
Product D will NOT be imported into Product Inventory
SaaS Product Inventory does not create duplicate products in this case.
No. SaaS does not support importing products from a Shopify test store that is protected by a password.
If you need to do this action, please contact the support team for help.
Product Items that already exist in SaaS Product Inventory will be compared by the Vendor Code property (see ) with the imported product items.
If you do not select the "Overwrite existing products" checkbox during the import procedure, all products already in SaaS Product Inventory will not be updated if the new import contains products with the same Vendor Code (see ).
