Switch from the Face Skin Metrics 2.0 to the Face Skin Analysis 3.0
This section explains how to switch from Face Skin Metrics 2.0 to Face Skin Analysis 3.0, what changes, and how it affects your application, integrations, and end-user experience.
This change means the following: better accuracy of algorithms, up to 30% stability improvement vs Face Skin Metrics 2.0, and it is free of charge.
Overview
Face Skin Analysis 3.0 (beta) is the latest generation of Haut.AI’s face skin analysis algorithm. It introduces a more advanced analysis pipeline, improved data structure, and deeper integration with the modern recommendation system.
Face Metrics 2.0 is considered a legacy algorithm and will receive limited updates going forward.
How to switch
Navigate to the Skin Consultant tab on the menu of the SaaS platform.
Open the Skin Consultant App app that you want to switch to the Face Skin Metrics 3.0.
Open the
Advancedsettings section.
In the Face skin algorithms sections select Face Skin Analysis 3.0 (beta)

Click
Save changesin the top right corner.

For businesses (B2B)
Modern and future-proof algorithm Face Skin Analysis 3.0 is designed to support new skin metrics, improved accuracy, and upcoming product features.

Important changes after switching to Face Skin Analysis 3.0
Please note that when you switch the application to Face Skin Analysis 3.0, the following changes will be applied automatically:
Customize metrics settings will be reset and returned to the default values
The metric configuration differs between versions, so previous custom settings cannot be preserved. If you renamed or hid any metric, you will need to do it again after switching. You can check the if you renamed or hid any metric in the Advanced settings of your Skin Consultant App.
Webhook payload changes
The webhook payload structure will change for:
Face skin analysis results
Recommendation system results
If your application relies on webhook data, you must update your integration to support the new payload format before switching.
Acne Pro application behavior
If your application is using the Acne Pro application:
Acne Pro results will not be available in the Skin Consultant App after switching to Face Skin Analysis 3.0.

This limitation applies only to the Skin Consultant App display and does not affect other analysis workflows.
Application Detach
One you switch from the Face Skin Metrics 2.0 to the Face Skin Analysis 3.0, the following applications will be detached from your Skin Consultant App: Face Skin Metrics 2.0 and Recommendation System 2.0
Once switched, the change is applied immediately to the application.
