Create Skin Consultant App
This page describes how to setup the Skin Consultant widget for your e-commerce web store
Skin Consultant App is a feature of the Haut.AI SaaS Platform, offering a no-code widget for skin analysis and recommendations.
To set up a new Skin Consultant app, you need:
Start a new app, see Creating new app.
Connect with Product Recommendations, see Attaching product recommendation.
Upload your Terms & Conditions for end users, see Attaching terms and conditions for end-users.
Preview app as end-user, see Previewing your Skin Consultant app.
Creating new app
Navigate to the Skin Consultant tab on the menu of the SaaS platform.
Click on the “New app” button in the top right corner of the screen.
Enter the name for your new app and proceed to the settings.
Attaching product recommendation
In the previous step Create and Configure Product Shelf you already created and filled the shelf for product recommendation. This step describes how to connect your product items <> skin concern logic to skin analysis experience.
Navigate to your Skin Consultant App details by clicking on the name of your app in the list of apps. Open the (1) General settings tab.
Click on the Product shelf drop-down menu.
Select your recently filled Product Shelf.
Click "Save changes" button on the bottom right corner.
Without the product shelf selected, the Skin Consultant App will show only skin analysis results and do not provide any product recommendation.
Attaching terms and conditions for end-users
Performing skin analysis requires personal data in the form of user photos to be collected and processed. Some countries require the explicit disclosure of the processors listed in the Terms and Conditions document.
Navigate to your Skin Consultant App details by clicking on the name of your app in the list of apps.
Open the (1) General Settings tab.
Click on the upload section Terms & conditions.
Select your document for upload. Only PDF format is supported now.
Click the "Save changes" button on the bottom right corner.
Your users are able to access your Terms and Conditions file by following the link on a starting screen.
Previewing your Skin Consultant app
There are 2 ways to previous your Skin Consultant app from a user perspective by opening it as a separate page:
Scan the QR code with your smartphone camera to open the Skin Consultant app as a separate page on your smartphone.
Click "follow the app's link" to open the Skin Consultant app as a separate page on your desktop.

How many Skin Consultant apps can I create?
You have an unlimited number of apps that you can create.
Can I deactivate the Skin Consultant app?
Yes, you can either delete or deactivate the Skin Consultant app you are not using.
Navigate to Skin consultant tab on the menu of SaaS platform.
Navigate to your Skin Consultant App details by clicking on name of your app in the list of apps.
Open the (1) General settings tab.
Change status from Running to Stopped.
Click "Save changes" button on the bottom right corner.
What is the best strategy to support multiple markets with different products?
As Skin Consultant app supports attachment of only one product shelf, the best strategy would be:
Create several different product shelves, one shelf per market. Follow the same guide Create and Configure Product Shelf for each product shelf.
Create several Skin Consultant apps, give them names of your markets.
Attach relevant product shelves to Skin Consultant apps for different markets.
Can I make my users explicitly accept the Terms and Conditions, instead of just being able to access the file?
Unfortunately, this option is not supported at this moment.
